Congregation worshipping together in church sanctuary

Our Story

A Safe House Built on Faith and New Beginnings

Iglesia Cristiana De Dios Casa Segura de Adoración did not begin in a temple, nor in an office, nor in a planning meeting. It began in a place where few would imagine God raising a vision: a federal prison. There, in 2018, after receiving a ten-year sentence for drug trafficking, God interrupted my life in a way I could have never anticipated.

Prison was a harsh environment. There were addicts using drugs inside the cells, men marked by violence, murderers, thieves, gang members, and people completely broken. In the midst of that chaos, God began to deal with me. He showed me the spiritual need around me and ignited in me a deep zeal for His Word.

While many false teachers were spreading wrong doctrines, God raised me up to preach the truth. And there, in that place of darkness, a light began to shine. Through this calling, more than a thousand men surrendered their lives to Christ, and a congregation inside the prison grew until it gathered around three hundred inmates worshiping together. It was during that time that God gave me the name that would mark my calling: Casa Segura de Adoración.

That name was not born at an altar, but in my hardest nights, in my internal battles, in my process of brokenness. God gave it to me five years before I was released, as a promise and an assignment.

In September of 2023, I was released.

One year after regaining my freedom, on November 23, 2024, the vision became a reality. I officially founded the Christian Church of God Casa Segura de Adoración, with the motto God deposited in my spirit—the motto that today defines our identity:

“In Casa Segura de Adoración, God is opening a new path for those who are seeking a new beginning.”

A church for those who seek a new beginning, a refuge for the wounded, a place where truth is taught with clarity and where the presence of God restores lives.

Today we continue pastoring with the same passion: to build a church where every person can enter, feel safe, and worship the true God; a church born in brokenness but destined to lift up many. Amen.

Before You Come

Your Questions, Answered

We know visiting a new church for the first time can feel uncertain. Here are the answers to the questions most first-time guests ask.

  • What should I wear?

Come as you are — truly. You will see everything from jeans and sneakers to Sunday best. We dress to be comfortable, not to impress. What matters is that you are here.
  • Where do I park?

We have free parking available on-site.

  • What happens when I arrive?

A friendly greeter will welcome you at the door and help you get oriented. Feel free to grab a coffee, pick up a visitor's guide, and find a seat. No one will put you on the spot or ask you to stand up — you can simply come in and experience the service.
  • What is the service like?

Our Sunday service typically runs about 75-90 minutes and includes Hispanic and

contemporary worship music, prayer, and a message from Scripture that is practical, honest, and full of hope. Expect an atmosphere that is warm, engaging, and Spirit-led.

  • How do I take a next step if I want to get more involved?

We make it easy. Fill out a Connection Card at the welcome desk, visit our Plan a Visit page, or simply introduce yourself to any of our team members after the service. We would love to help you find your place here.
